Have you always felt like the odd man out in your group? Do you find yourself often frustrated that no one thinks like you do? It might well be that you are the rebel of your group! Being a rebel is a socially challenging task that stems from different standards and perspectives. If you think you are  one such character, read on to see if you can relate with any of these common signs of a rebellious mind.

  1. You don’t like instructions

The basic qualification for being a rebel is an acute aversion towards following guidelines, rules or instructions. You feel as though, rules place restrictions on your creativity and style and you would much rather make your own rules. If you feel the urge to do the opposite of what you’ve been told then there’s a good chance that you have a rebellious mind.

Being rebellious usually means being different than what everyone considers normal. So you find it quite natural to think out of the box or do something that no one else would dare to do! In fact, you make sure that your ideas and actions are as unique as possible because the goal of being a rebel is to be unique.

If you prefer to be laid back and leave things till the last minute, you probably are inclined to be rebellious. You might be a procrastinator because you want to defy deadlines or you might procrastinate because you’re supremely confident of your ability to complete those tasks.
