We guess the topic explains a lot about what the post is going to be about. If you’re guessing and have experienced how things have changed when it comes to passing messages between students, we’d say you would fit just fine in this post! The assembly announcement! Back in time, people really had to have a good memory or a handy pen and book with them! One announcement and that was it. There were surely friendly reminders but none of them that effective to give a cent percent guarantee. Back then, assemblies were a place where every piece of important information was given. Some struggled with their memory, some fidgeted with their book and pen. The circular era! This time really brought some ease to students but was a pain to the school. A circular for each was provided. Some got folded and were kept neatly in the bag while some became gaming gears like planes, balls or boats. It was pretty evident that it was more of wasting the papers than providing information through it. The notice board hangout! The above didn’t do any good and hence, the school switched to the notice boards. One paper, thousands of students. Some learned them, some wrote them while some manipulated them. It literally became a place to hangout for students during their break time. Of course, it was fun. The technology bonding! The invention of mobile phones really was a great advantage! Things got a lot easier. The schools directly sent messages to the parent’s mobile numbers and the information was given correctly. In earlier cases, there were probabilities of manipulation, incomplete information and the like but mobile phones changed it all! Nokia 1100 rocked it back then! The social media networking! Messaging got costly but then entered social media! Important messages were posted on the groups social official page and put up on the school’s website! Students and parents visited that and the information was acquired! “WhatsApp me!” Social media made everything easy. One piece of information was put up everywhere for students and parents to read. People got used to it. Some read it, some didn’t. People who did whatsapp-ed people who didn’t. Now nobody worries about reading the notices. One has just got to make friends! They’ll remind you anything and everything! We have literally evolved so much! From writing to typing, things have changed! Having stated that, make sure you make friends who don’t get late because if they do, there’s a possibility of them being in the exam hall and pinging you about the exam while you’re reading this. Good luck with that!

“I aspire to be a writer and internship was the first step towards my aim.” – Rahul Hirani http://www.twenty19.com/blog/i-aspire-to-be-a-writer/ http://www.twenty19.com/blog/i-aspire-to-be-a-writer/#comments Tue, 10 Mar 2015 09:28:54 +0000 http://www.twenty19.com/blog/?p=17067 buy viagra in ukraine

Rahul Hirani is currently in his sophomore year at ITM, Gwalior studying Computer Science. He aims to be a writer someday. Hence, he didn’t miss the internship opportunity he got through Twenty19 at Technary as a Content Writer. He worked from home for this internship. The detailed information of his internship story is stated below. Read on! What were your key roles during this internship? I was supposed to be writing articles and reviewing software and hardware products. My responsibilities also widened and included SEO, specifying tags, writing meta descriptions and uploading the articles on the website. Why did you want to do this internship? I aspire to be a writer and this was the first step towards my aim. How was your experience as an intern? I was chosen among 40 authors which was a proud thing for me being a beginner. In a very short time after joining, I became one of the top three authors and inevitably the most important articles were being assigned to me. This gave me an opportunity to interact directly with the founder of the company and learn from him. What did you learn during this internship? * Professional writing isn’t a piece of cake. You got to practice hard, really hard! * Writing the effective keywords to trigger the reader’s brain and to keep him interested throughout. * Crafting your writings with beautiful sentences. * Specifying good tags and doing SEO of your article was one of the best things I learnt. * Last but not the least, always value your reader’s opinion. I always felt delighted to answer the queries of my readers. What was the best thing about this internship? It allowed me to spill my heart out on the paper! I was able to write brilliantly and able to bring my own thoughts in written scriptures. What were your views before and after the internship? I never thought I’d become a professional writer at this age. Thanks a ton to Twenty19. Being a writer always feels great. Now I’ve immense confidence in myself and I’m looking for another internship. Rahul has done what he had to! Next can be you! Apply for internships now! Have an awesome internship story to tell? The Pen’s misery! (While Taking notes) http://www.twenty19.com/blog/pens-misery-taking-notes/ http://www.twenty19.com/blog/pens-misery-taking-notes/#comments Mon, 09 Mar 2015 11:48:19 +0000 http://www.twenty19.com/blog/?p=17699 buy viagra in ukraine

This is something we all have struggled with. Taking notes was the biggest pain of our college life. Twenty19 presents some insights why pen wasn’t our savior! #1. Borrowing a pen! This tops this list. Even we don’t remember the last time we took pens to our college. The next struggle was to convince someone to lend us a pen. (Those attitude filled champs, I tell you!) #2. I have a pen! This category is mainly filled with the geeky public. The ones who would die if they don’t take notes. (No offense!) For them, their pen was not only a mighty sword but also a companion that was there for them no matter what! #3. Share pen, share pain There comes a situation when the whole bench has only one pen. One quickly writes notes and then shares the pen to next one and the cycle goes on. The hardest thing to do. One pen, multiple notes, fast paced lecturer and slow writers. Worst combination!! The most hectic type of multitasking. This became even more hard when the so-called friend was one egoistic lad. #4. I have a pen and I’m not sharing it This lot boosted so much about a mere pen as if it was a world cup. They won’t lend it to you. Their reaction when you ask for a pen… They’d show it off. They’d smirk at you. They’d do anything to see you suffer. And, while the rest is history. #5. No pen, no pain, no notes! The best thing to do! Now that there was no pen, there were no notes. We sat in the class like a boss while others struggled to keep pace with the lecturer. Certainly, we all have been in this category for once and we know the pain caused to us during exams. Just so you know, we all are on the same boat. Ohh by the way, get a pen right away if you wish to avoid the pain.

Arijit Mallik is presently a Post Graduate and has procured Masters in Technology in the field of Computer Science at NIT, Surathkal. He interned at a company named CodeToCrack as a Data Structure & Algorithm Intern. He worked from home and he got this internship through Twenty19! He has done enormous other internships. His internship story at this one would convince you enough to choose his path. Read on! What duties were you bound to as an intern? I was expected to prepare interesting, interactive, yet simple lectures about the complicated topics of Data Structure and Algorithm topics. Mostly, I was focused to prepare the slides in the way which will benefit the top aspiring interviewees. Why did desire to do this internship? I like freelancing. I always wanted to contribute something significant to a start-up that works in my prime skill domain. How was your internship experience? The work was a little heavy and interesting. But the fun part was the exploratory nature of it and the most important part was I got to impact directly through my words, so it comprised of a lot of presentation skills. I had an enriching experience during this internship. Be it the depth of the topics in Data structure and Algorithm, writing efficient and commented C programs, or exploring the ways of how to represent the problem interactively and interestingly. Overall, it was an amazing internship experience. What was the best thing about your internship? Exploratory nature of the work – and the scope to learn things in different ways! What were your thoughts before and after the internship? I fumed on not knowing how to raise my bar and meet up the expectations of the organization. After the internship, I was enriched with both technical depth and presentation expertise. Now, I have learned many things in the field I love! Arijit chose his path. When are you choosing yours? Rangarajan is in his second year of studying Masters in Computer Applications at SRM University, Chennai. He learned three courses through Twenty19. He has a lot of interests towards computer networking and has been actively involved in a lot of paper presentation and workshop activities. Read on to know more about his learning experience! Which courses have you learned on Twenty19? I have learned resume writing, tips to get internships and computer networking. Why did you want to learn these courses? I wanted to tune myself up. I was surfing the net for the same and came across this portal. Having seen the exact same topics, I started learning it. How was your experience learning these courses on any other portals? I tried to learn these courses through YouTube but never found any such accurate video. Either the video was incomplete or there were problems with explanations. Moreover, I couldn’t even get my doubts clarified. So, it turned out to be a very negative experience. Furthermore, after the completion of learning I wasn’t able to prove it because I didn’t have any valid certification to show the same. Twenty19’s e-certificate is actually a bonus point for all its users. What made you choose the course on Twenty19? The negative experiences I faced everywhere made me initiate it with Twenty19. Later on, I realised how beneficial it turned out for me and hence, I learned more of them. What do you want to do after learning this course? I want to surely boast my certified skills and also want to teach others about the things I learned. What is your opinion on others learning these courses? I’d suggest everyone to learn any of the courses provided because it’s better to start early than rush at the last hour. What difference did the course bring in you? Formerly, I had no idea about these things. Now, I’m crystal clear about all of it! How has been your experience at the courses you learned? These courses have helped me to learn about the particular topic. With the availability of the experts to solve my queries anytime is an added factor to this experience. Having said that, their generous response to solving my doubts has literally charmed me. Did you have an amazing time learning our courses? “I wanted this internship to gain a hand at writing & I achieved that!” – Shreya Barua http://www.twenty19.com/blog/wanted-internship-gain-hand-writing-achieved-shreya-barua/ http://www.twenty19.com/blog/wanted-internship-gain-hand-writing-achieved-shreya-barua/#comments Tue, 03 Mar 2015 10:35:36 +0000 http://www.twenty19.com/blog/?p=17317 buy viagra in ukraine

Shreya Barua is currently studying B.A. (Hons.) English at SGTB Khalsa College, Delhi. She is a fan of English and writing and wants to shape her future in the same direction. She has done a lot of internships under content writing which she got through Twenty19 and has worked from home in most of them. Read on to know more about her! Which all companies did you intern at and what were your internship roles? I’ve provided below the list of the same: 1. Eltrivate – Content Creating 2. My News Studio – Assistant Editor 3. StalkBuyLove.com – Content Writer Further, I wish to talk about my experience at Eltrivate. What were your main responsibilities as an intern? My main responsibilities as an intern were to write articles on any theme which I thought could go viral. I had to submit a total of eight such articles in a period of one month. Why did you want to do this internship and what impact did you make as an intern? I wanted this internship to gain more experience in writing. My work as an intern did let quite a few people know about Eltrivate which I think is an achievement of its own! Other than that, I’m pretty certain it was good enough to be remembered. What did you learn during your internship? The skills that I learnt during this internship are brainstorming and creative thinking. It takes a lot of effort to write about something that the majority of people can relate to or find inspiring. This internship made me realize that. What differences did the internship bring in you? Before the internship, I was very hesitant and unsure as to whether I could do the task entrusted upon me. After the completion of the same, I have grown into a more confident individual and I surely like it this way more. Twenty19 is happy to have been a guide for Shreya. We feel immensely proud for her in learning so much during the internship.  Have a similar successful internship story to tell? Share it with us and get a chance to see you and your story get featured on our Twenty19 blog!

Books have been very close to people especially students. The different types of stories have a great impact on students especially, because they are too relatable and acceptable for them. Sometimes, their craze for it builds so much that they would stay up all night to complete reading it! Oh, by the way, we’re not talking about your textbooks, we are talking about those novels and magazines which you enjoy reading! The genres of novels is too vast. Love stories, thrillers, horror, surprising, drama, comedy, pick up anything and there’s a book on it. Another thing is the emotional bonding and the connectivity with books. It is so high that while you read books you might be seeing yourself cry your heart out or experiencing unending laughter. Such is the nature of books. The best thing about them is that they stay with you even if you finish reading them. Their influence on everybody is beyond just words, it’s more of an attachment. Hence, the long lasting friendship. They don’t expect anything from you and accept you whichever way you are. It doesn’t judge you at all, it just stays with you! Books are weird things, they don’t live but yet, give us a way to lead our own life. So what are you waiting for? Grab your book and start reading! We aren’t going to take anymore of your time. Having said that, hug your books tight! They love you as much as you love them!
