How did you get this internship opportunity at Twenty19?
I was looking to work in a vibrant Startup and so registered myself on Twenty19 to search for internship opportunities. While searching, I came across a listing by Twenty19 itself – for Operations Interns. I applied without a second thought. Later, I had a phone interview after which I was taken on board.
Why did you want to intern at Twenty19?
The very thought that I would be working for the student community made me super excited
There is a massive student community in India. Most students do not have the best of resources to go further in their academics and careers. Twenty19 helps these students realize their true potential through internships, online courses and events. The very thought that I would be working for the student community made me super excited to intern at Twenty19.
My primary role as an Operations Intern was to create courses for students. My work included research on courses, creating presentations, recording audio and editing videos. I also assisted a few course experts in completing their courses.
How did you carry out your tasks?
I stuck to the process and added my own inputs which worked out fine throughout the rest of my tenure
To be frank, I had no clue on how I would carry out my tasks initially. I had no prior experience on courses creation. It was all new to me. Thankfully, I had an able guide to help me out in my initial days. Once I understood the process, I stuck to it and added my own inputs which worked out fine throughout the rest of my tenure.
How did you feel working with the Twenty19 team?
I would like to call the people I worked with, my friends rather than colleagues
It was simply amazing working with the Twenty19 team. I would like to call the people I worked with, my friends rather than colleagues. I was given complete freedom to do my work. Despite being a newbie, my ideas were always encouraged and implemented.
How was the overall experience? Did you like it?
As I said earlier, I simply loved the experience. I found out how doing something very simple can make a big difference to someone else’s life. I also learnt that great work can be done only when we do what we love. Having said that, this experience is something that I would cherish for a very long time. Thank You Twenty19!
Bhargav’s energy and enthusiasm made him do an amazing job as an Operations Intern. We wish him success in all his future endeavours.
