Leo Shastri, Director at Webmuch Software speaks to us on the challenges that he faced as a startup and how interns were a quick fix to them.

 

The Essence

 

Webmuch Software is a creative digital agency based in New Delhi, India. The Lock

 

Webmuch is a non-funded startup, The problems comes in with people being paid high packages these days, it’s something that i personally being a startup couldn’t afford. It’s a growing problem, giving out high salary packages to interns and employees these days, the growing economy problem is leading the employees to expect higher paying packages.

However, when it comes down to hiring youth, they’re worth the packages. Having a young, fresh brain in start­ups always helps. The new talented young employees change the office environment to something more joyful than usual. Web Much had some trouble hiring staff in the beginning since we didn’t have a platform to search for the right people for the jobs.

The Golden Key

 

At our end, we tried to keep minimal paid freshers, minimal or unpaid interns, young and vibrant staff, casual culture to promote company liking. For the same reason we got on Twenty19. At first, we had some trouble looking for the right talent because a few years ago, it was a lot harder than it is today. The only two ways we had for hiring new people was Word of Mouth and advertising on Facebook or in local newspaper.

The main trouble was the expense of the advertisements for hiring new staff since advertising is extremely expensive these days. I’m glad we came across Twenty19 and found the right platform to search the right talent.

Twenty19 has always been helpful to Webmuch. For any queries that we had, we could contact them directly to clarify anything we wanted. We received mails and calls from Twenty19 asking us about our experience with them,  just so they can make it better for us. Twenty19 allowed us to post a internship for free in the starting, and later on, we just had to pay a small amount for a package of posting unlimited internships, which clearly helped us a lot. We have posted about 10 internships/jobs yet, and we’ve hired around 15 to 20 perfectly good interns.With the help of the staff at Twenty19, we bought the relevant package for us and received unlimited internship for a year. I would gladly recommend anyone to Twenty19. The staff at Twenty19 are extremely helpful.
