Company Name: Money-Wizards – Money-Wizard is an IIM alumni venture and is a pioneer company in the field of financial education.
My Internship Role: Summer Camp Trainer
My key responsibilities: I had to train and mentor the children (aged 10-15) on money management. I was given the task of guiding the students to become financially prudent individuals through various games and activities. I was required to encourage the students to bring out the spirit of entrepreneurship and assist them in producing their own products (Like lemonades, photo frames, handicrafts etc), which was to be sold by them, through an exhibition on the final day of the camp.
The impact that I made: The impact I made was significant. My students enjoyed my classes very much, especially the games we played and the activities which we did. At the end of the camp, the underlying concept of money management was well etched in their minds.
What I learnt/Skills I picked up: I learnt the noble art of teaching and the unique strategies to make a class interesting and lively. My own knowledge in finance and savings increased considerably. I also had a chance to network with like-minded individuals. Above all, this internship taught me that professionalism is not just a word, but a way of life.
The best thing about the Internship: The hilarious and joyful interactions with my students, was perhaps the best part of my internship.
Would I recommend an internship in this company to my friends: Yep – this company is awesome!

My internship Experience in “One Word”: Gratifying
My internship “Cloud 9 Moment”: On the final day of the camp, a parent (who was present in my classes most of the time) told me about how enthusiastic and committed I was, towards my work, and how I handled the children effectively yet lovingly. That was the most gratifying feedback I’d ever received.
