WhatsApp Image 2017-08-24 at 17.03.48Hi Pallav, thank you for sparing your time for us. You are a National level Karate player. How do you manage your time between academics and Sports?

Thank you Twenty19 for this wonderful opportunity. Though I am a national level karate player, I concentrate on both academics and sports equally. I have attended various workshops related to Mechanical engineering field to improve myself and better my skills. I have also attended few industrial training wherein I have learnt and developed the skills of graphite production.

Apart from Karate, how else do you kill your free time?

My hobbies include playing and watching cricket. Also, I am a huge lover of reading and writing and that’s from where I derive my interest in content writing.

You seem to have a wide range of interest. What is your passion in life, Pallav?

My passion, in life, is to serve my country by getting myself into the most prestigious services of our nation- The Civil Services. My short term goal is to complete my graduation with decent marks so that I can go beyond and achieve my goal in life which is to be a Bureaucrat.

How did you hear about us, Twenty19.com and why did you choose our portal over the other portals?

I came across Twenty19 in the Newspaper, The Hindu. I think, the whole process to apply for an internship at Twenty19 is simple and very much transparent.

To bring a change, you need to be the change.

We would like to know about your internship experience with us

I did my first internship at Rang De, an NGO working for the poor section of the society. The aim was to help the poor people get their loan and my work included writing a content for them. My job profile also included persuading the investors to donate towards their cause. It was really an enjoyable and cherishable experience.

Have a big heart and never complain about anything as there are people who have got quite less than what you already have.

We really appreciate and salute your interest in social service. It really is a great deed and we can’t be any prouder. If you could state 3 qualities that you have taken out from the internship, what will it be?

First-time management. It was necessary to submit the content on time as the people were highly dependent on the money.

Second- To give your best every time as the people are in dire need of the money and if I don’t write a good content the investors won’t donate as they aren’t convinced enough.

Last- To have a big heart and to never complain about anything as there are people who have got quite less than what you already have.

We can only imagine the hardships that you might have faced. Our audience would like to know the challenges you faced and how you overcame them.

The main challenge was to produce my best while sticking to the timeline. With focused concentration and proper planning, I overcame the challenge.  As I already said, this internship changed my perspective towards life there are people who have got quite less than what you already have.

How has the internship with twenty19.com changed your insight about your future and career?

I’m only a new bird in the nest as far as the internships are concerned. But what I have learnt until now has given me insights about the way the world around you works and to bring a change, you need to be the change. Never to complain and always to take the responsibility and I am sure this will be very helpful in driving my future.

That is truly inspiring to hear. Any word you wish to give to give the students who are going to join internships via Twenty19.com

As mentioned before, I understand that Twenty19 is the perfect platform to provide the internship opportunities to the students.
