How did you get this internship opportunity at Twenty19?
With weeks of holidays in hand, I wanted to make the most productive use of my vacations
Having just finished my first year with weeks of holidays in hand, I wanted to make the most productive use of my vacations. I had been familiar with Twenty19 and saw an opening for an Operations Intern (Course Development) on the website and applied straight away. I had to go through an interview process after which I was taken on board.
Why did you want to intern at Twenty19?
Twenty19 seemed like THE company I wanted to intern in. It didn’t quite look like a corporate; rather a huge online student portal, helping students across India with Internships, Online Courses and Events. Truth be told, I was also lured in by the promise of good food!
What were your responsibilities as an Operations Intern?
I worked on developing micro courses under the inspiring leadership of Niveditha – Business leader for courses who gave me the full freedom to express my ideas and try something new! I ended up developing two micro courses – Fears of a student and How to stay updated – at the end of my internship period.
How did you carry out your tasks?
Though there were some moments of stress, the dedication and enthusiasm of my co-workers kept me going
Since this was my first internship I was nervous about how I would go about my tasks. But thanks to the Twenty19 team, I felt warm and relaxed. Their company calmed me down and I was able to focus more on my work. Though there were some moments of stress, the dedication and enthusiasm of my co-workers kept me going.
How was it working with the Twenty19 team?
It was both inspiring and exciting to work with the Twenty19 team. I was amazed at how passionate the young workforce was when they were at work. It is still hard to believe that I made some really good friends here.
How was the overall experience? Did you like it?
I loved the experience. I learnt a lot about team work and dedication working at Twenty19. One of the best things this internship did was instill a sense of responsibility in me which would aid me in all my future endeavours. I will always be thankful to Twenty19 for giving me this wonderful opportunity to explore me and my skills.
