Replying to an email with “Thanks” or “OK” does not advance the conversation in any way.This could be an example of one liner too,so if you are in a formal email to your boss or recruiter never use a one liner,that will not help you in anyway.

Hi,if you want to forward an email sent to you by a colleague to your boss,clear all the unnecessary details like the sender message and sender details.
one liner like, I'm the person you're looking for and here's why..."
As an employer, I would take to the challenge.
you can use such one-liner,but only after you have followed the necessary steps shown in the videos,just sending one-liners will not help you getting a job,it can be used after communicating with the recruiter and sending all the details like resume.

If you don't know the name of the sender use Dear Sir/Madam or Respected Sir/Madam as salutation.

Yes you can use Respected Sir in salutations,if you don't know who the person is use Respected or Dear Sir/Madam.
Usage of Dear is appropriate for a job application,you can also use Mr,Mrs,Ms. etc if you know who the person is.
