Contracts - Legal Intern

Description

A fresher contracting professional who can conduct entry-level/intermediate contract management functions such as drafting, review, redline, negotiation, approvals, reporting, database management, renewals, etc. on behalf of the client. The intern should have good communication skills and positive attitude to manage the client expectations and works well in a team to consistently meet challenging performance targets

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist senior members of the team to draft/review/redline/negotiate low to mid complex contract on behalf of the client and secure favorable positions for the client
2. Assist senior members of the team to prepare deviation reports to seek approval from client and stakeholders as and when required
3. Co-ordinate the execution of the contract, either electronically or manually i.e. signatures from both parties, mailing hard copies, etc
4. Scan, index and upload the contract details accurately (metadata entry in the contract repository tool)
5. Assist senior members of the team in handling the entire contract administration activities
6. Assist senior members of the team during renewals, extension, renegotiation, amendments and termination of contract
7. Assist senior members of the team in management information system/reporting requirements
