Architecture Intern

Description

SPRAT is an awarded NGO that uses contemporary management and information technologies. It is supported by the likes of Microsoft, Google, Autodesk, etc.

This unique internship offers TWIN-TRACKS:

PRIMARY: Architecture and Engineering, that may include some of these: Designing and drafting, working drawings, modeling, site visit, landscaping, utilities including MEP, interior design, science artifacts/models

SECONDARY: A range of management areas to choose from. These will empower you as a professional / entrepreneur and may include some of these: HR, Presentations, Event Management, Web/print Content, Video making/editing, Graphics, WordPress/SharePoint, Financial management, Science popularization etc

Accordingly, you receive two certificates: one for CoA mandatory Architecture and another as a Management Trainee. That this empowers you as a professional and enhances your placement opportunities is obvious.

SPRAT's Internships come in multiple formats:
For residential, 24x7 interns that look upon this as a great multi-disciplinary learning experience, we provide free boarding, lodging, local transport, internet, basic recreation, etc. in lieu of the stipend. (This clearly costs us much more than the stated stipend). We call this IMMERSIVE INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE. These interns interact with us as a family and contribute 2.5 hrs of extra engagement daily.

For Non-residential Interns, SPRAT may offer the stated stipend or free lunch and refund of 2-wheeler fuel cost. These interns must bring either prior hands-on experience or thorough knowledge of their chosen field. Sunday is a site-visit day.

For exceptionally bright students of IX and Xth Sem we may offer Work from Home Internship until the Lockdown restrictions apply. They will have to work at SPRAT thereafter.

Preference is accorded to longer-term interns: the longer the term, the better the chance of selection.
