Event Description
College of Engineering, Pune (COEP) is the third oldest engineering college in Asia. It is an autonomous institute, ranked among the top engineering colleges in the country. With a vibrant student community, COEP is the Alma mater of renowned graduates such as Bharat Ratna M. Visvesvaraya, Dr. Thomas Kailath, Dr. C. K. N. Patel and well-known personalities such as Dr. Vijay Kelkar,
Mrs. Lila Poonawala, Mr. Rahul Bajaj and Mr. Hemant Nerurkar among others.
COEP hosts one of the largest technical festivals in the country, MindSpark.
A student's initiative, it is an encouraging platform to bring together some of the sharpest engineering minds in the country.
Since its inception in 2007, MindSpark, has turned in to one of the most coveted and awaited events in the country today.
This year, MindSpark steps into its tenth edition, having had a footfall of 20000 last year.
The decade edition aims to bring about a tangible and positive environmental impact through ideas and innovations that have the potential to revolutionize and safeguard our future. To accomplish this,
we have more than 50 events encompassing the theme "A Green Expedition" in every possible way.
It will be held on the 23rd, 24th and 25th of September 2016.
