Radiance is the Annual Research and Technology Festival of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Bombay. Radiance 2012 is going to be held from 3rd - 4th March 2012. Over the years, it has built it’s own legacy and reputation of being a platform for fostering brotherhood amongst the Mechanical Engineering family across the nation. It is no longer just a pure technical festival, but a stage for discussion and exchange-of the challenges plaguing Mechanical Engineering, of the wide world of opportunities that lie before us, and of the new innovative and creative ideas that just strike people, in the “Radiance” environment. |

COMPETITIONS The most exciting part of Radiance where you will be witnessing brilliant minds clash in a plethora of events that promise to be bigger and better than ever before. Quizzes, Coding, Algorithm development, Modelling and simulation, Projects and paper presentations-we have it all. Encouraging creativity and testing technical acumen has always been the motto of competitions at Radiance and we will be aiming to live up to our own legacy. Robotricks LECTURES Healthy interaction and exchange of ideas with experts and luminaries who have achieved laurels in Industry and research respectively is what we offer through our Lecture series. Their passionate oratory and description about their respective fields will be a very motivating experience for those aiming to emulate their success. EVENTS EXHIBITIONS Through our exhibitions, we plan to display the latest cutting technology that the world of ME has to offer. Interesting projects at industry and research will be displayed, aiming to spread knowledge and cultivate interest. The hands on opportunity of seeing how things actually work and to get a close look at legendary machines will be a very big thrill,apart from being a means to improve understanding about specific engineering phenomena. |
